Creative Challenge
I've been so busy recently that it's left me no time for creative work on my story, and as I only really want to post creative stuff on my blog I have decided to set myself a creative challenge... two in fact.
The first came about whilst brainstorming a project at work currently, at work I questioned the lack of creativity in out staff portraits, baring in mind we are a creative business made up of designers, photographers and writers! So I was challenged to re shoot the... creatively. I have had so many ideas already but want to really push them so much further to come up with something brand new. Using inspiration from the artist Thomassin Durgin's 'A Ring A Day Challenge', I will be taking the 365 self portrait challenge. I feel that repetitiveness of this project should enable me to break me out of my comfort zone by continually pushing me and my ideas. I plan to experiment with lighting, locations, propping, posing, angles, story telling, capturing the moment and my personality.
The second challenge is a visual diary not only to document my life but visually tell a story through photography.
Both these challenges are going to be documented right here, to keep me on track.
